Multi-Day Cycling Packages

Tour 1 - 2 day / 1 night Weekender:

Choose any 2 rides and start any day of the week

Paeroa – Thames / Paeroa – Waihi / Paeroa - Te Aroha

Day 1 / 2 - Leave from Paeroa and our shuttle will take you to one of the trail’s start points and you take the rail trail back to Paeroa. Or cycle to another station (Waihi, Te Aroha, Thames) and our Sherpa shuttle will pick you up and return you to Paeroa.

Package includes:

Bike hire – standard bike, helmet, bike lock, rear carrier bag

Accommodation – share twin in Paeroa

* Accommodation does not include meals

Shuttle – Pick up/Drop off at start and a return to Paeroa

Add-ons*: Let us know if you would like to:

• - arrange secure car parking - add $15.00 per night
• - add night’s accommodation before &/or after the ride
• - hire an E- bike – add $60.00 per day
• - snack at Waikino Station café – add $15.00
• - take the Goldfields train Waikino to Waihi

Tour 2 - 3 day / 2nights:  

Waihi – Paeroa – Thames – Miranda   125 kms

Starting from Paeroa our Sherpa shuttle will take you to your journey start at Miranda. Alternatively start from Waihi and reverse the ride.

          Day 1 – Cycle Miranda – Thames 47 km o/night in Thames

          Day 2 – Cycle Thames to Paeroa 37 km o/night in Paero

          Day 3 – Cycle Paeroa to Waihi 25 km

At the end of your ride our shuttle will pick you up and return you to Paeroa.

 Package includes:

Bike hire – standard bike, helmet, bike lock, rear carrier bag

Accommodation – two nights share twin

* Accommodation does not include meals

Luggage transfers or carry your own with rear panniers

Shuttle – Pick up/Drop off at start and a return to Paeroa

Tour 3 -4 day / 3 nights:  

Miranda – Thames – Paeroa – Waihi – Te Aroha   182 kms

Starting from Paeroa our Sherpa shuttle will take you to your journey start at Miranda. Alternatively start from Te Aroha and reverse the ride.

     Day 1 – Cycle Miranda – Thames 47 km o/night in Thame

     Day 2 – Cycle Thames to Paeroa 37 km o/night in Paeroa

     Day 3 – Cycle Paeroa to Waihi 25 km o/night in Waihi

     Day 4 – Cycle Waihi to Te Aroha 47 km

At the end of your ride our shuttle will pick you up and return you to Paeroa.

*Take the Waihi to Waikino train on Day 4 and reduce the ride by 10 km.

*Finishing off in either Te Aroha or Miranda offers the opportunity to relax in the thermal spa/pools before being shuttled back to your vehicle in Paeroa (additional charges apply).
