Ideal as a base for the Karangahake Gorge just up the road, or for playing the Waihi Golf Course, a pleasantly green and playable course that’s one of golf’s best kept secrets. Waihi Beach, is only 10 minutes or so to the east.

A collection of tame animals, sheep, lambs, small pigs, assorted chickens and ducks are an unusual feature of the property. You are free to walk among them and even take part in feeding them.

Animals are fenced off from the accommodation sites.
