TRAXX accommodation is a self contained historical railway cottage offering the charm of yesteryear but the conveniences of today.

This Fantastic Cottage is one of the original Goldfields Railway cottages. Situated back 50 meters from the quaint Waihi Train Station and the start of the new Hauraki Rail Trail is quite literally outside your doorstep.

Waihi beach is 10 mins drive away, Waihi town is just up the road where you can find great local cafes, markets, museums and shops and the famous Martha Pit rim with all it's gold mining history.

Take the kids on a train ride to Waikino or explore the Karagahake gorge which is a 10 min bike away where you will find great walks and river swims.
